Josiah had his first field trip to Rowe Woods. Unfortunately, he slept through the entire hike. He missed out on the brilliant leaf colors, pretty birds, and a sighting of a young snake. Oh well, I plan to take him there frequently to try and spark a love for nature. I certainly enjoyed myself. I hiked the Whitetail Deer trail and soaked up the final day of Indian Summer. Then I came home and ate some candy corn. It seemed appropriate.

Field trip to Rowe Woods
Josiah had his first field trip to Rowe Woods. Unfortunately, he slept through the entire hike. He missed out on the brilliant leaf colors, pretty birds, and a sighting of a young snake. Oh well, I plan to take him there frequently to try and spark a love for nature. I certainly enjoyed myself. I hiked the Whitetail Deer trail and soaked up the final day of Indian Summer. Happiness is being able to hike outside without a coat in November! Oh, and I certainly state as well that happiness is having a healthy, handsome son to hike with! :)
